The Contractor shall supply all labor, equipment, materials and incidentals <br />necessary to install pavement markings and signing in accordance with the plans <br />and the following specifications. <br />1.02 REFERENCED SPECIFICATIONS, CODES AND STANDARDS <br />A. Manual of Uniform Control Devices, latest edition <br />B. FDOT Design Standards, 1992 edition (as applicable) <br />C. FDOT Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, 1991 edition <br />(as applicable) <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. Thermoplastic traffic stripes and markings shall meet the requirements of <br />AASHTO M249 -79 (1986) and exceptions as indicated in the "FDOT Standard <br />Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction ", 1991 edition. <br />B. Signs - General: <br />1. The design and construction of traffic signs shall be in accordance with <br />the following standards: <br />+ Manual of Uniform Control Devices, Latest edition <br />+ Florida DOT Standard Specifications <br />+ Florida DOT Roadway and Traffic Design Standards <br />2. Shop drawings and quantities for paint overhead sign structures, special <br />designs for ground sign structures, shall be submitted to the Engineer for <br />approval. <br />PART 3 - EXECUTION <br />06/07 <br />A. Parking stalls shall be marked in accordance with the typical pattern indicated on <br />the criteria drawings. Stall width and depth, and drive widths indicated are <br />minimum and must not be reduced. <br />B.
