B <br />1 <br />i <br />D <br />e <br />v <br />a <br />s <br />i <br />s <br />v <br />0 <br />H11 <br />SECTION 02611 <br />REINFORCED CONCRETE PIPE <br />PART 1 - GENERAL <br />1.01 SCOPE OF WORK <br />A. Furnish all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required and install in the <br />locations as shown on the drawings, the reinforced concrete pipe (R.C.P.) and <br />appurtenances as described herein. <br />1.02 RELATED WORK <br />A. Section 02221: Trenching, Bedding and Backfill for Pipe <br />1.03 DESCRIPTION OF SYSTEM <br />A. Piping shall be installed at the location shown on drawings. <br />1.04 QUALIFICATIONS <br />A. All R.C.P. and appurtenances shall be furnished by a single manufacturer who is <br />fully experienced, reputable, and qualified in the manufacture of the items to be <br />furnished. The equipment shall be designed, constructed, and installed in <br />accordance with the best practices and methods and shall comply with these <br />Specifications. <br />1.05 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Shop drawings shall be submitted to the Engineer for approval and shall include <br />dimensioning and technical specification for all piping to be furnished. <br />1.06 TOOLS <br />A. Special tools, solvents, lubricants, and caulking compounds required for normal <br />installation shall be furnished with the pipe. <br />PART 2- PRODUCTS <br />2.01 MATERIALS <br />A. R.C.P. shall be in accordance with ASTM C -76 -88 Class II wall B and as <br />manufactured by United States Concrete Pipe Co. or approved equal. <br />B. All pipe shall be bundled or packaged in such a manner as to provide adequate <br />protection for the ends, threaded, or flanged, during transportation from the <br />manufacturer. <br />06/07 02611 -1 03 -4197 <br />
