<br />Sunny Isles Beach Parking Garage Study <br />Keith and Schnars Project No, 17747,01,09006 <br />January 9,2008 - Page 2 <br /> <br />In particular, parking demand associated with parks, adjacent commercial uses, community centers, and the beach will <br />be summarized in appropriate tables for each of the three propo~ed parking structure areas, <br /> <br />Task 6: Public Workshop <br />K&S will attend and assist, relative to this parking study, in the preparation for one (1) public information workshop, <br /> <br />Task 7: Assess Parking Structure Capacity and Cost <br />A comparative analysis will be performed of the parking supply and demand within each parking structure area. From <br />this comparison, approximate parking surpluses and deficits can be identified based on hourly accumulation estimates, <br />Parking demand will be focused upon local residents, parks, community facilities, and commercial developments within <br />1,200 feet of each parking structure and forms the foundation for determining the appropriate number of parking spaces <br />needed in each parking structure to serve the area, <br /> <br />Further, a generalized cost of the additional parking spaces will be provided, The order of magnitude cost will be based <br />on cost estimates per parking space, and will not include costs associated with the acquisition of land, <br /> <br />Task 9: Documentation <br />A summary of our existing and future parking conditions will be documented in a report with the supporting data and <br />analysis provided in the appropriate tables.
