AlA / Collins Avenue Landscape Improvements. <br /> <br />Dear Ms. O'Leary, <br /> <br />Alvarez Engineers, Inc. is pleased to submit this proposal. Our firm is experienced and has the <br />qualifications and resources necessary to serve as Civil Engineers for the referenced project. <br /> <br />Our understanding is that the limits of the project extend from approximately 400 Ft south of 1891h <br />Street, to the William Lehman Causeway Off-Ramp (a distance of approximately 1500 Ft) and from <br />the west Right of Way line of Collins Avenue to the east side of the median of Collins Avenue that <br />contains the William Lehman Causeway On-Ramp. <br /> <br />We propose to provide assistance with the following tasks: <br /> <br />1. Preparation of standard FOOT roadway plans depicting topography, proposed sidewalks, <br />drainage, stormwater management retention areas, signs, pavement markings, utilities, <br />lighting systems and all other features which are standard in roadway construction plans in <br />accordance with FOOT's Plan Preparation Manual (PPM). <br /> <br />2. Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan. <br /> <br />3. Preparation of Roadway items specifications. <br /> <br />4. Water Quality and quantity calculations of runoff generated by the additional impervious areas. <br /> <br />5. Assistance with permitting. <br /> <br />6. Lighting Analysis. Calculate photometries for the proposed decorative lights and preparation of <br />a lighting report. Check voltage drop. Design of new lighting system. Specifications for the <br />decorative lights. Electrical connections for landscaping lighting. Provision of service point, <br />Preparation of lighting plans. <br /> <br />We propose to provide the services listed above for a Lump Sum fee of $28,339.16. Details and <br />breakdown of activities and tasks are described in the attached Estimate of Work Effort and Fee.
