RESOLUTION NO. 2008- ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 2007-1148, THE 2008 CITY COMMISSION MEETING SCHEDULE, TO PROVIDE THA T CITY COMMISSION MEETINGS SHALL COMMENCE AT 6:30 P.M.; CHANGING THE OCTOBER 23, 2008 MEETING TO OCTOBER 16, 2008; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach desires to revise the established schedule of City Commission meetings for the remainder of calendar year 2008; and WHEREAS, specifically the City Commission wishes to change the time of the City Commission meetings from 7:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. beginning with the April 17, 2008 meeting; and WHEREAS, to be consistent with meeting on the third Thursday of the month, the City Commission wishes to change the October 23,2008 meeting to October 16,2008. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, THAT: Section 1. Approval of Revised 2008 Schedule of Commission Meetings. The schedule for City Commission meetings for calendar year 2008 shall be revised as set forth herein: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in April: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in May: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in June: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in July: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in August: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in September: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd 4~ Thursday in October: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in November: 6:30 p.m. Regular Meeting: 3rd Thursday in December: Apr. May June July Aug. Sept. Oct. Nov. Dec. 17,2008 15,2008 19,2008 17,2008 21,2008 18,2008 1Q ~, 2008 20,2008 18,2008 Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective upon adoption.
