Vacation payment for accruals of more than one (1) <br />year will be calculated by averaging the employee's rate of pay for the last <br />three years of service (provided the amount of accrued vacation time to be <br />paid is two or three years worth.) <br /> <br />13) If a City paid holiday falls within an employee's vacation period, an <br />additional day of vacation will be granted. This additional day may be taken <br />at the beginning or end of the employee's vacation period or at another time <br />during the vacation year, subject to the supervisor's approval.
