RESOLUTION NO. 2016- 2,4 10 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 15-Z-151 TO EXTEND THE TIME PERIOD TO OBTAIN A BUILDING PERMIT BY ST. TROPEZ BEACH DEVELOPERS, LLC. (THE "APPLICANT") FOR THE PROJECT ENTITLED "ST. TROPEZ OFFICE BLDG" LOCATED AT 16690 COLLINS AVENUE, IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 265-11 (L) OF THE CITY CODE; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Applicant has requested an extension of time to pull a building permit in accordance with Resolution No. 15-Z-151, adopted on April 16, 2015; and WHEREAS, the Applicant's zoning approval is set to expire on October 17, 2016 and the Applicant has stated good grounds for the extension request; and WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to approve the request for extension and extends the zoning approval issued under Resolution No. 15-Z-151 to October 17, 2017. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Approval of Extension Request. Pursuant to Section 265-11(L) of the City Code, the City Commission hereby approves the request for extension submitted by the Applicant, St. Tropez Beach Developers, LLC. and extends the zoning approval issued under Resolution No. 15-Z-151 to October 17, 2017. Section 2. Authority of the City Manager and City Attorney. The City Commission provides the City Manager and City Attorney with the authority to do all things necessary to effectuate this Resolution. Section 3. Effective Date.
