KHA <br />will coordinate with a licensed geotechnical engineer to obtain the appropriate <br />Standard Penetration Test (SPT) sods boring Information. <br /> <br />Each mast arm structure calculation requires relative spot elevations at each pole <br />location and at the crown of the roadway beneath each mast arm overhang. ~ <br />described in Task 2, the elevations at the subject intersection shall be provided In <br />the survey. . <br /> <br />KHA will review the soli boring data and spot elevations and perform one design <br />of each mast arm structure at the subject intersection (including mast arm(s), <br />upright and arm-upright connections, base plate, anchor bolts, and foundation) <br />based on KHA's signal design. <br /> <br />The mast arm design plan sheets and calculations will be developed in <br />accordance with FOOT design requirements. Based on the location and <br />geOmetry of the existing intersection and proposed improvements, KHA <br />antlclpates that mast arm calculations will be developed for four mast arm traffic <br />signal instatlat/ons. <br /> <br />rak 8 - Submit Final Slanal Plans <br /> <br />KHA will prepare the Final Signal Plans upon Miami-Dade County Public Works <br />Department review and approval of the 90% plans. <br /> <br />Final plans submittal to Mlaml-Oade County will Include up to four 11 inch x 17 <br />Inch plan sets, signed and sealed by a Florida registered professional engineer. <br />KHA will provide fifteen plan sets for your use. Additional plan sets will be <br />provided per Task 10, Additional Services. <br /> <br />Tak 7 - Permlttlna <br /> <br />KHA will prepare and submit permit applications pertaining to the design and <br />maintenance of the proposed signal to Miami-Dade County Public Works <br />Department and the Florida Department of Transportation. <br /> <br />Tak 8 -fInal AcceDtance of Traffic Slanal Construction <br /> <br />Upon final acceptance of the signal plans, KHA will prepare an engineer's <br />estimate of probable cost and reference the FOOT standard specifications and <br />provisions.
