<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2009- ..rl.8.~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF <br />SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, RATIFYING THE PURCHASE <br />OF AN "LUKE" MASTER METER FROM PARKER SYSTEMS <br />TO BE PLACED IN THE PARKING LOT AT 255 SUNNY ISLES <br />BOULEVARD, IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED FOURTEEN <br />THOUSAND FORTY-FOUR DOLLARS AND SEVENTY-SEVEN <br />CENTS ($14,044.77); AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO <br />DO ALL THINGS NECESSARY TO EFFECTUATE THIS <br />RESOLUTION; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Sunny Isles Beach needed to purchase a master meter to replace <br />the master meter at 255 Sunny Isles Boulevard Parking Lot; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Parker Systems had the lowest responsive responsible quote, and was <br />willing and able to provide the desired services; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Parker Systems submitted a proposal to the City to provide a "Luke" Master <br />Meters to be placed in the parking lot at 255 Sunny Isles Boulevard, in an amount not to exceed <br />Fourteen Thousand Forty-Four Dollars and Seventy-Seven Cents ($14,044.77). <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section 1. Ratifying the Purchase. The City Commission hereby approves the purchase of a <br />"Luke" Master Meter from Parker Systems, in an amount not to exceed Fourteen Thousand <br />Forty-Four Dollars and Seventy-Seven Cents ($14,044.77), to be placed in the parking lot at 255 <br />Sunny Isles Boulevard. <br /> <br />Section 2. Authorization of City Manager. The City Manager is hereby authorized to do all <br />things necessary to effectuate this Resolution <br /> <br />Section 3. <br /> <br />Effective Date.
