TRANE" <br /> <br />Trane <br />2884 Corporate Way <br />Miramar, FL. 33025 <br />(954) 499-6900 <br /> <br />June 30, 2008 <br /> <br />Site: Pelican Community Park <br />18115 North Bay Road <br />Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33 I 60 <br />Attn: Bill Evans <br />Cc: Susan Simpson <br /> <br />Project Name: Chemically clean coils and Anti-corrosion Coat application on Airstack unit Model ASP20A <br /> <br />Upon our previous visit to your facility we noticed that the coils on the air cooled chiller are not coated against corrosion, <br />In order to potentially lengthen the life of the coils and prevent premature corrosion, we recommend that the coils get <br />coated with a chemical film that would slow down the corrosion process with minimum effect on unit efficiency, <br /> <br />Scone of Service <br /> <br />· Check the units that needs to be trealed, <br />· Take protective measures to protect environment and adjacent equipment. <br />· Disassemble protective grids, <br />· Disassemble condenser fans for access, <br />· Remove debris and dirt around coils, <br />· Chemically clean the coils, <br />· Deoxidize fins, <br />· Clean with high pressure water. <br />· Align the fins where required, <br />· Dry coils with Compressed air. <br />· Apply the Polu AL XT@ top coating on all the heat exchanger fins, <br />· Reassemble the parts and the unit. <br />· Clean location, <br />· Inspect the unit with the customer if necessary, <br /> <br />Material used <br /> <br />· Chemical cleaning material as necessary, <br />· Chemical coating material as necessary, <br /> <br />Note: The estimated downtime will be approximalely 2-3 days.
