<br />NOTICE TO BIDDERS
<br />
<br />NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH is
<br />seeking sealed bids for the following work as specified.
<br />
<br />PROJECT NAME
<br />
<br />Central Island Drainage and Street Improvements
<br />
<br />City of Sunny Isles Beach Bid No. 07-10-02
<br />
<br />Sealed bids for the construction of the Central Island Drainage and I
<br />Street Improvements consisting among other items of milling and
<br />resurfacing, concrete sidewalks, construction of a new storm drainage
<br />system including 22 drainage wells, and miscellaneous signing' and
<br />marking as described in the Summary of Quantities sheet will be
<br />received by the Owner, City of Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />
<br />Bids shall be on a unit price basis; segregated bids will not be accepted.
<br />Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk until 10:30 AM, on
<br />November 14, 2007 at the City of Sunny Isles Beach, City Hall located at
<br />18070 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, 33160. Bids received
<br />after this time will be returned unopened. Bids submitted will be opened
<br />publicly and read aloud at this time.
<br />
<br />Bidding Documents may be examined at the City of Sunny Isles Beach,
<br />at the above-referenced address.
<br />
<br />Bidders may obtain complete sets of Bidding Documents, at a cost of
<br />$125.00, from the City of Sunny Isles Beach at 18070 Collins Avenue,
<br />Sunny Isles Beach, Florida 33160, between October 3 - 31,2007. Partial
<br />sets of Bidding Documents will not be available. Mandatory Pre-Bid
<br />Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on October 31, 2007, at the City of
<br />Sunny Isles Beach.
<br />
<br />Bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Total Bid must
<br />accompany the Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
<br />
<br />The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, with or without
<br />cause, to waive technical errors and informalities, and to accept the Bid,
<br />which best serves the interest of the Owner.
<br />
