Project also includes High Mast Lighting and Decorative Lighting throughout Broward County. The Project duration is 365 days with a cost estimated at 4 million dollars. Cost: 54.5 Million I Duration 22 months Position: Project Engineer I Project Administrator This fast track Design Build Project consists of building two new Toll Plazas along SR 836 on both the East & West Roadways. Providing all the wiring for the operation of the Toll Plazas and the Open Road Tolling (ORT) Gantries located along the mainline of SR 836. Additional work mix includes widening and reconstruction of SR 836 between NW 87'" Ave and NW 107'" Ave with extensive earth work, base and sub-base work, structural and friction course asphalt, drainage work, lighting and construction of specialized over lane tubular structures for signing. Finally, the project included construction of a two mile bike path along the north right-of-way. (1) TITLE AND LOCATION (City and State) (2) YEAR COMPLETED Florida Department of Transportation Hurricane Consultant for Districts PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONSTRUCTION (If applicable) Four (Broward, Palm Beach, Martin Indian River and St Lucie Counties) September 2005 and Six (Miami-Dade County) (3) BRIEF DESCRIPTION (Brief scope, size, cost, etc.) AND SPECIFIC ROLE ~ Check if project performed with current firm C. Alter Hurricanes Jeanne and Francis Target Engineering Group, Inc as retained by the FOOT to oversee the restoration of Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, Indian River and Palm Beach Counties. Consequently after Hurricane Wilma, Target Engineering Group, Inc. was retained to oversee the restoration of Miami-Dade County. Scope of Work included contract management, documentation and inspection of debris removal, signalization assessment and repair and signing restoration. Additional work mix included review, analysis and approval of all costs submitted by impacted municipalities for reimbursement by The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA). Restoration Costs for Hurricane Jeanne and Francis in District Four exceeded 300 million. Construction Costs: 7 million Duration: 2 years Scope of Work: Sawgrass Expressway modification at the Sunrise and Deeriield Main Toll Plaza to Open Road Tolling (ORT) . This work included concrete island removal, conductor and conduit installation to accommodate the ORT and roadway modification and signing. Scope of Work: Sawgrass Expressway 441 & Lyons Road Ramp Modifications. This work included adding additional concrete toll lanes new buildings for toll equipment and state of the art toll gantries.
