BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT <br />The directive from the City of A ventura was to <br />develop a Landscape Master Plan for the entire City <br />of A ventura. A part of this plan included the <br />streetscape design for A ventura Boulevard, a main <br />gateway into the City. The landscape concept <br />included new custom street lighting, new custom <br />street furniture including bus shelters, entry feature, <br />benches, trash receptacles, landscape lighting, <br />xeriscape irrigation, illuminated street signs and <br />landscaping. The landscape palette included <br />Majestic Date and Coconut Palms in the median, <br />with Live Oak trees shading the pedestrian <br />walkways in the swales. The medians were accented <br />with evergreen groundcover in the center and <br />flowering seasonal color at the ends.
