<br />(2) Multiple family housing developments, hotels, motels and apartment hotel <br /> <br />(except that hotel, motels and apartment hotel shall not be permitted west <br /> <br />of the centerline of Collins Ave right of way), provided they are approved <br /> <br />under the provisions of site plan review hereinafter provided. Where an <br /> <br />applicant fails to secure the approval of the Building, Community <br /> <br />Planning and Zoning Department~, the site plan reviewed shall be deemed <br /> <br />denied. Where the site plan has been denied, the applicant may correct the <br /> <br />same to secure the approval of the departments or appeal the denial for <br /> <br />review by the City Commission. Where multifamily, hotel, motel and <br /> <br />apartment hotel developments consist of two (2) or more structures, unless <br /> <br />each such structure is located on a site meeting all standards of this <br /> <br />district, the area shall be restricted to unified ownership or control by unity <br /> <br />of title or_covenant running with the land. <br /> <br />The following definitions shall supercede any and all other definitions of <br /> <br />the same terms found in this code: <br /> <br />(a) Apartment hotel. A hotel which has been subdivided as to <br /> <br />ownership in any manner. <br /> <br />(b) Hotel. A building in which lodging, or boarding and lodging, are <br /> <br />provided as the more or less temporary residence of individuals <br /> <br />who are lodged therein and in which ingress and egress to and <br /> <br />from all rooms are made through an inside lobby supervised by a <br /> <br />person in charge at all times.
