ORDINANCE NO. 200l-iZ3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2000-88, ESTABLISHING THE OPERATING DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEALER; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on September 25, 1997, by Ordinance No. 97-7, the City Commission created certain departments for the purpose of systematically and efficiently administering the operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, which was subsequently amended by Ordinance 2000-88, dated December 9, 1999; and WHEREAS, the operating budget and the functioning ofthe City now demands the revision of City departments; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Ordinance No. 2000-88 is hereby amended as follows: 1. City Departments Created. For the purpose of systematically and efficiently administering the operations of the City of Sunny Isles Beach the following departments of government within the City are hereby established. 1. Office of the City Manager 2. Finance Department 3. Office of the City Attorney 4. Office of the City Clerk 5. Zoning. Planning and Building ana Zomng Department 6. Administrative Services Department 7. Police Pablic; Safety Department 8. Public Works Department 9. Recreation Cultural and Human Services Department 10. Human Resources Department 11. Code Enforcement and Licensing Department Section 2. Severability. If any section, subsection, clause or provision of this Ordinance is declared invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remainder shall not be affected by such invalidity.
