<br />ARTICLE III. <br /> <br />GENERAL PROVISIONS. <br /> <br />Section A. <br /> <br />LANDS TO WHICH ORDINANCE APPLIES. <br /> <br />This Ordinance shall apply to all areas of special flood hazard within the jurisdiction of the City of <br />Sunny Isles Beach. <br /> <br />Section B. <br /> <br />BASIS FOR AREA OF SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD. <br /> <br />The areas of special flood hazard identified by the Federal Emergency Management Agency in its <br />Flood Insurance Study and Flood Insurance Rate Map for Miami-Dade County, Florida, dated July <br />17, 1995, Panel 84 of 625. with accompanying maps and other supporting data and any revision <br />thereto, are adopted by Ordinance. The Flood Insurance Study and Flood Insurance Rate Map are on <br />file at the Building Department 18070 Collins Avenue. Sunny Isles Beach FL 33160 <br /> <br />SECTION C. DESIGNATION OF FLOODPLAIN ADMINISTRATOR <br /> <br />The Citv Commission of the Citv of Sunnv Isles Beach hereby appoints the BuildinJ! Ofticial to <br />administer and implement the provisions of this ordinance and is herein referred to as the Floodplain <br />Administrator <br /> <br />Section D. <br /> <br />EST ABLISHMENT OF DEVELOPMENT PERMIT. <br /> <br />A Development Permit shall be required in conformance with the provision of this Ordinance prior <br />to the commencement of any development activities. <br /> <br />Section E. <br /> <br />COMPLIANCE. <br /> <br />No structure or land shall hereafter be located, extended, converted or structurally altered without <br />full compliance with the terms of this ordinance and other applicable regulations. <br /> <br />Section F. <br /> <br />ABROGATION AND GREATER RESTRICTIONS. <br /> <br />This Ordinance is not intended to repeal, abrogate or impair any existing easements, covenants or <br />deed restrictions.
