Action: Mayor Scholl read the Proclamation into the record,and presented it to Neha Arora of the Leukemia& Lymphoma Society. 6. ZONING: ZONING HEARINGS ARE QUASI-JUDICIAL PUBLIC HEARINGS. . 6A. Request of Estates at Acqualina Site Plan Modification — GSF Acquisition, LLC ("Applicant")for the Property Located at 17901 Collins Avenue,Site Plan Modification for the Following: (Hearing#PZ2016-05) Summary: The Applicant is requesting approval of a site plan modification to an approved site plan for property located at 17901 Collins Avenue. The request includes an increase of density from 264 residential units to 265 residential units and an increase in square footage from 1,085,205 square feet to 1,197,298 square feet of Floor Area Ratio (FAR). Further, the Applicant is requesting approval of the purchase of additional Transfer of Development Rights(TDRs)in the amount of 107,998 square feet of FAR. Requests: 1. Pursuant to Section 265-18 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations, the Applicant is requesting a site plan modification to an approved site plan for an increase of density from 264 residential units to 265 residential units and an increase of square footage from 1,085,205 square feet to 1,197,298 square feet of FAR. 2. Pursuant to Section 265-23 of the City of Sunny Isles Beach Land Development Regulations, the Applicant is requesting the approval of the purchase of 107,998 square feet of floor areas from the City's TDR Bank.
