We have compared our current fees with those of other <br />municipalities within our County and abutting municipalities, and we have made some <br />proposed adjustments as detailed in the attached proposed fee schedule. (See Exhibit A) <br /> <br />Among the most relevant proposed adjustments to our fee schedule, we have increased <br />our re-inspection fee from $65.00 to $75.00. We have increased our minimum fee for lost <br />set of plans from $90.00 to $100.00. We have increased our Change of Contractor Fee <br />from $85.00 to $100.00. We have increased our Structural Plans examiner review fee <br />from $115.00 to $125.00. We have increased the minimum permit fees for all trades, <br />from $100.00 to $125.00. We have decreased our residential elevator fee from $360.00 to <br />$300.00. The fees for boilers and pressure vessels fees have been increased. We have <br />amended section 6 within the "General Information on Special Fees, Refunds, Extensions <br />and Cancellations" section, to reflect the DBPRJDCA Surcharge changes as adopted in <br />the Florida Statutes. Lastly, we have incorporated sections I and J where condominium <br />associations have the option of pre-paying the cost of permits, on an annual basis, for <br />certain work done in the common elements and inside condominium units, as set forth in <br />the proposed fee schedule.
