<br />Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program <br />Florida Department of Law Enforcement <br /> <br />Violating Facilities and that it will notify the Department of the receipt of any communication from <br />the Director of the EPA Office of Federal Activities indicating that a facility to be used in the <br />project is under consideration for listing by the EPA. <br /> <br />47. Flood Disaster Protection Act <br /> <br />The subgrant recipient will comply with Section 102(a) of the Flood Disaster Protection Act of <br />1973, Public Law 93-234, 87 Stat. 975, requiring that the purchase of flood insurance in <br />communities where such insurance is available as a condition of the receipt of any federal <br />financial assistance for construction or acquisition purposes for use in any area that has been <br />identified as an area having special flood hazards. <br /> <br />48. National Historic Preservation Act <br /> <br />It will assist the Department (if necessary) in assuring compliance with section 106 of the National <br />Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (16 U.S.C. 9470), Ex. Order 11593 (identification and <br />protection of historic properties), the Archeological and Historical Preservation Act of 1974 (16 <br />U.S.C. 9469 a-1 et seq.), and the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (42 U.S.C. 94321). <br /> <br />49. Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act <br /> <br />The subgrant recipient will comply and assure the compliance of all contractors, with the <br />applicable provisions of Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968, as <br />amended; the Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention Act, or the Victims of Crime Act; as <br />appropriate; the provisions of the current edition of the Office of Justice Program Financial and <br />Administrative Guide for Grants; and all other applicable State and Federal laws, orders, <br />circulars, or regulations. <br /> <br />50. Human Research Subjects <br /> <br />Grantee agrees to comply with the requirements of 28 C.F.R. part 46 and all Office of Justice <br />Programs policies and procedures regarding the protection of human research subjects, including <br />obtainment of Institutional Review Board approval, if appropriate, and subject informed consent. <br /> <br />51. National Information Exchange Model specifications <br /> <br />To support public safety and justice information sharing, the Office of Justice Programs requires <br />the grantee to use the National Information Exchange Model (NIEM) specifications and guidelines <br />for this particular grant. Grantee shall publish and make available without restriction all schemas <br />generated as a result of this grant to the component registry as specified in the guidelines. For <br />more information on compliance with this condition, visit <br />http://www.niem.gov/implementationauide.php. <br /> <br />52. Reporting, Data Collection and Evaluation <br /> <br />The subgrant recipient agrees to comply with all reporting, data collection and evaluation <br />requirements, as prescribed by the Bureau of Justice Assistance in the program guidance for the <br />Justice Assistance Grant (JAG).
