Grandinetti, Police Captain <br /> DATE: 9/15/2016 <br /> Authorization to enter into an agreement and expend up <br /> RE to $114,962.00 annually with Action Labor Management <br /> d/b/a Staffing Connection, for School Crossing Guard <br /> Services. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the City Commission adopt the attached <br /> resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a two (2) year agreement <br /> with an optional three (3), one-year renewals with Action Labor <br /> Management d/b/a Staffing Connection for School Crossing Guard <br /> Services. <br /> REASONS: <br /> Our Purchasing Department issued an Invitation to Bid (ITB)#16-04-05 <br /> and received five (5) bids. Staff has deemed Action Labor Management <br /> as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder. <br /> ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: <br /> Action Labor Management will provide an estimated ten (10) school <br /> crossing guards & one (1) supervisor at locations designated by the <br /> police department. Action Labor Management currently provides <br /> crossing guard services to 29 cities in five (5) different counties to <br /> include; The City Hallandale Beach, Dania Beach, North Bay Village and <br /> Homestead. <br /> 207 <br />
