ARTICLE 30 <br />VEHICLES <br />Section 1. The City shall have the right and authority to determine assignment of vehicles <br />and to remove the assignment at its discretion. The Chief of Police shall have the authority to <br />determine vehicle assignments external to normal shift assignment. Vehicle assignments are <br />understood by the parties to be based upon operational necessity. <br />Section 2. Each employee will have the option to take their assigned vehicle home. if an <br />employee chooses this option, s/he will be charged a monthly amount based on the formula currently <br />in place. <br />-36-1Page <br />
