BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size and cost) <br /> <br />WA provided Programming, Planning, Architec- <br />tural and Engineering services for the new Pine- <br />crest Municipal Center, Village Hall and Police <br />Department as part of a General Consulting <br />Contract. The new facility is home to the Village <br />of Pinecrest's Village Hall and Police Depart- <br />ment. The Municipal Center serves as the Vil- <br />lage's seat of government and houses the Vil- <br />lage's Building and Zoning Department, as well <br />as their Police Station. <br /> <br />The Municipal Center is a three-story building <br />consisting of a two level parking garage with <br />space for approximately 50 vehicles on the <br />ground level and 50 police vehicles on a se- <br />cured second level. A 26,000 SF third level <br />houses the Village's Government offices, public <br />meeting spaces, building and zoning offices and <br />the police station with offices, command center <br />and holding cells. The building also serves as <br />the Village's Emergency Operations Center and <br />was designed to withstand Category Five hurri- <br />cane wind speeds. An emergency standby gen- <br />erator capable of providing emergency power <br />for three days of additional protection during <br />emergencies. <br /> <br />Cost: $4,000,000 <br /> <br /> <br />25.
