AECOM offers the City of Sunny Isles Beach the following competencies for your Miscellaneous Services Architectural/Engineering contract: A One-stop Shop for Design Services AECOM is a full service AlE firm and can provide all basic design services including Architecture, Engineering, Planning, Interior Design and Landscape Architecture from a single office location. Our design professionals are supported by mechanical, electrical, structural, and civil engineers - resulting in increased collaboration and streamlined services. In other words, with a single telephone call the City will be able to obtain all the professional services that will be needed for a particular project. The obvious benefit to the City of a full service design organization will be a more efficient and less complicated internal management process for City staff. Experience with Multiple Building I Project Types AECOM offers extensive experience with virtually any building type that may result from this contract including the design of: offices; parking garages; park facilities; community centers; sports facilities; public work buildings; justice/public safety; educational; and other building types. We also have a depth of experience performing in the role of Design Criteria Professional. A Portfolio of Renovation Projects Having worked in South Florida for more than 80 years, AECOM has amassed a large portfolio of renovation projects with both the public and private sectors. These projects have ranged in size and scope from small renovations to complete building retrofits. The types of projects typically associated with a Miscellaneous Services contract are more often renovation projects and our experience with that project type will serve the City well. Prior Experience with Miscellaneous Service and Term Contracts Over the years, AECOM has had the opportunity to work with numerous South Florida based clients in similar Miscellaneous Services and Term Contracts including: Miami-Dade County Aviation Department; Miami-Dade College; U.S. Navy; U.S. Army Corps of Engi- neers; Publix Supermarkets; City of Miramar; University of Miami; Miami Dade County Public Schools; and numerous others refer- enced within this submittal. As a result, we are accustomed to the cyclical nature of these types of contract vehicles. A Proven IDIQ Management Plan As just mentioned, AECOM has worked on numerous Miscellaneous / Term AlE contracts, often with multiple concurrent tasks. We have a proven management plan in place to organize and manage your work. Our team's Project Manager and integrated design team members have overseen and managed similar government term contracts and thus providing the City with an experienced design team.
