BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost): Silva Architects was awarded a Continuing Services contract with Miami-Dade County Fire Rescue Department. Silva Architects was the Design Criteria Professional & AlE of Record on these projects. The projects consisted of (5) new 4,300 gsf fire rescue facilities in Miami, Florida. The budget for each station was approximately $800,000, (total value of work approximately $4.2 million) and the project bids were all under budget. Silva Architects was responsible for creating a schematic design, Design Criteria Package, and functioning as an Owner's representative during the construction process. The list of stations included: Saga Bay Fire Rescue Station No. 55, Honey Hill Fire Rescue Station, West Kendall Fire Rescue Station No. 57, Uleta Fire Rescue Station No. 32, and Hialeah Gardens Fire Rescue Station No. 28 This project showcases Silva Architects' ability to work with a governmental agency and provide a state of the art facility for the Owner. 33.
