(TRP) is a full service architectural firm whose lineage can be traced to two <br />firms - Polevitzky and Russell Architects (1936 - 1941) and Weed, Russell, Johnson Associates, Architects and <br />Engineers (1946 - 1957). Founded by T. Trip Russell, F.A.I.A. in 1957 as T. Trip Russell & Associates, the firm is <br />built upon a solid foundation of tradition and experience. The early years saw the development of Miami Beach <br />and the design of numerous hotels such as the Shelbourne Hotel. In 1977, two members of the firm became <br />principals and the firm was re-named Russell, Martinez, & Holt, Architects, Inc. <br />A merger in 1985 brought together Russell, Martinez, & Holt, Architects, Inc. and Tinney, Ruiz & Partners <br />to form The Russell Partnership, Inc. Between 1985 and 1990, the work of the firm included a variety of projects, <br />including a terminal building for U.S. Air, a radiation therapy facility at the Veterans Administrations Medical <br />Center, numerous projects for Florida International University, University of Miami and Florida Atlantic University. <br />During the 1990's, the firm continued with a diversified scope of projects which included the College of Liberal Arts <br />for Florida Atlantic University, the Broward Community CollegejFAU Joint Library and Learning Resources Center, <br />miscellaneous projects for the various campuses of Miami-Dade College, and the award winning Wellness Center <br />for the University of Miami. <br />TRP has had extensive experience with miscellaneous contracts for various governmental and private <br />agencies at the national, state and local levels. Most of these contracts have been renewed or extended by the <br />clients based on their satisfaction with the level of service provided by the firm. City of Miami <br />· Miami Dade Parks and Recreation <br /> <br />Continuing contracts for miscellaneous architecture, engineering, planning, building and code compliance <br />services require that a team be organized and able to manage numerous projects with different schedules, budgets <br />and general requirements. TRP has been working on these types of contracts for over 20 years and has learned to <br />adapt to the changing requirements for this type of contract. <br />Educational design work has been demonstrated with the design of a 24 classroom addition for J.P. <br />Taravella High School, a stage remodeling for Hollywood Hills High School, media center additions for Air Base, <br />Mae Walters, and Lorah Park Elementary Schools. Library design work has included the design of a renovation and <br />addition to Carver Ranches Branch Library and the design of a new Tyrone Bryant Branch Library in Broward <br />
