School Board of Broward County - Open-End Services (Architecture Miscellaneous, Architecture Plan Review, Master Planning & Roofing Design Services) - Ongoing The Russell Partnership, Inc. has provided design, facility inspection services, construction administration and plan review services for the School Board of Broward County in the areas of Building Code Compliance, ADA compliance, life safety and general renovations and remodeling. The Russell Partnership, Inc. is currently on its 3rd plan review contract with SBBC and has made over 590 plan reviews for Building Code Compliance, 6A-2 Compliance and SBBC Design Standard Compliance under these contracts. Reviews of plans has included a wide variety of project types, including new high schools, ADA renovation projects, new classroom buildings, administration buildings, various type of assembly occupancy buildings, media centers, athletic facilities, food service facilities and site related improvements. School Board of Broward County - Open-End Services for Architecture Services - Completed 2007 The Russell Partnership, Inc. provided plan review services for the School Board of Broward County. These reviews included review for Building Code Compliance, 6A-2 Compliance and SBBC Design Standard Compliance. Reviews of plans included a wide variety of project types, including new high schools, ADA renovation projects, new classroom buildings, administration buildings, various type of assembly occupancy buildings, media centers, athletic facilities, food service facilities and site related improvements. Miami Dade College - College Wide Handrail-Guardrail Code Compliance Study - Completed December, 2009 (Ongoing Contract) This project involved a survey of handrails and guardrails at all buildings of all eight campuses of Miami-Dade College to determine code and/or life safety deficiencies. All conditions at the campuses which would require handrails and guardrails but for which none were present were also part of this study. This included site conditions where there were changes in elevations, ramps, steps and benches along raised walkways. Existing handrails/guardrails were evaluated for compliance with both codes at the time of construction as well as current codes. In addition, handrails/guardrails were evaluated for structural deterioration and inadequate structural capacity. Forms documenting materials, dimensions, anchorages, openings, extensions, ADA compliance, etc. were completed and assembled along with photographs of the handrails/guardrails being evaluated. Design Criteria Professional for Pembroke Pines Middle School Replacement School - Completed 2009 and Pine Ridge Education Center - Completed 2008 The Consulting Design Criteria Professional (CDCP) is to provide review of the construction documents and evaluate the project construction against the Pine Ridge Education Center Design Criteria Package as well Pembroke Pines Middle Replacement School.
