<br />TALL Y ENGINEERING, INC. (TALL Y) is pleased to submit this letter of interest and statements of
<br />qualifications and experience to provide Professional Engineering Services to the City of
<br />Sunny Isles Beach in response to RFQ # 10-04-01.

<br />Tally is a Civil Engineering firm that was established in 1992 in Miami, Florida. Over a span of
<br />eighteen years it has expanded its operations to cover Transportation Engineering,
<br />Geotechnical Engineering, Materials Testing and Laboratory Services, Building Design,
<br />Inspection Services with a dual focus on Vertical Construction and Transportation
<br />Engineering. Its four offices are located in Miami, Pembroke Pines, Sunrise and Tampa,
<br />Florida, supporting clients throughout the State of Florida.

<br />AWARENESS OF THE RFQ's SCOPE OF WORK:
<br />
<br />This RFQ for Civil Engineering Professional Services and Related Work is designed to
<br />enable the City of Sunny Isles Beach on an as-needed basis during the two-year term to
<br />utilize the services of the professional engineering firm to provide the services in the services
<br />listed in the RFQ, individually or in combination, that may be required to complete the tasks
<br />at hand. It is more desireable, efficient, cost-effective and quicker for the City of Sunny Isles
<br />Beach to select a firm with multiple skills, qualifications and capabilities to ensure faster
<br />response and better coordination to meet the needs of the City of Sunny Isles Beach.

<br />WHY TALL Y BEST MEETS THE NEEDS OF THE CITY OF SUNNY ISLES BEACH:
<br />
<br />Tally is a combined civil engineering, geotechnical, and material testing firm. Tally has
<br />performed in a variety of areas, including: preliminary design services, which include soil
<br />boring, field investigation, foundation recommendation and pavement evaluation; full design
<br />services; material testing, and laboratory services; and construction management and
<br />inspection for variety of City, County and FOOT projects. On some projects Tally is retained
<br />from concept design to completion and on others Tally has provided services in a specific area
<br />on an as-needed bases.

<br />Tally's services have been utilized by a variety of clients with diverse needs. This is due to its
<br />vast experience and qualifications in the areas of geotechnical services, materials and testing
<br />laboratory services, field testing and inspection including but not limited to concrete, asphalt,
<br />pre-cast, pre-stress, drill shaft, utility coordination, and pavement evaluation. All these
<br />services are supported by our CMEC and FOOT qualified geotechnical and material testing
<br />laboratory. Our current staff has accumulated years of experience working for various city and
<br />county governments as well as FOOT, and hold all the required certifications and licenses that
<br />qualifies them to respond to the client's needs at any stage of the project from its concept
<br />design through completion.
