Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) <br /> <br />CADD CAPABILITY <br />CAS employs three (3) out of the seventy (70) Florida Certified American Design & Drafting Association <br />CADD Operators. Our CADD Technicians prepare detailed drawings, layouts, exhibits, topographical maps, <br />and graphic representations of survey information & engineering designs by using computer software known <br />as AutoCAD. Designs relate to engineering projects such as water, sewer, paving and drainage systems. <br />Craig A. Smith & Associates prides itself in keeping its workforce educated and equipped to handle today's <br />most challenging and rewarding tasks. CAS is utilizing the latest AutoCAD software (Civil3D 2010), custom- <br />built AutoCAD systems and functions, as well as some industry-first hardware including 3D laser scanning <br />technologies. FDOT ED! <br /> <br />SUBSURFACE UTILITY LOCATES <br />CAS provides complete subsurface utility engineering and location services utilizing the latest in electronic <br />verification, Ground Penetrating Radar, Vacuum Excavation and GPS survey equipment. CAS can provide <br />utility location information in various formats from simplistic 2D (two dimensional) to comprehensive 3D <br />(three dimensional) Radar Tomography coupled with advanced software platforms such as: AutoCAD, Civil <br />3D or Microstation, Geopak. CAS performs Subsurface Utility Engineering providing utility mapping, <br />electromagnetic designating, 2D radar designating, 3D radar tomography, vacuum soft digs, conventional <br />and GPS utility surveys. CAS also provides utility coordination services, interfacing with utility owner/ <br />operators on behalf of engineers, planners and project designers. <br /> <br />CRAIG A.
