Threshold) Inspections and Environmental Services.

Nutting was brought in to consult on a project that the School District was on the brink of
abandoning due to the significant cost associated with a demucking-refilling operation of
heavy peat deposits located on the site. Nutting's principal chief engineer, Jim Flaig, offered
a cost saving recommendation that the School District planners consider relocating the main
building to the area with no peat to shallow depth of organics and to move the large storm
water retention area to the west side of the site, in the area of the deep muck. The planners
determined that this would be an excellent solution and the School District finalized the site
purchase.

The Cost-Control Solution saved the School District substantial amounts of money and fees
already expended on the acquisition of the current site and if needed, an alternative site as
well as the future cost of demucking-refilling had they decided to proceed with the original
layout.

Nutting provided services through completion of the project by monitoring and testing the
site development and building pad preparation activities, the materials testing and
inspections of the tilt wall construction- all on time, on schedule and within the budget.

8r~~lb~
