The Safety Study project <br />requires the analysis of a segment of highway between one-half and one mile in length. The work associated with the <br />arterial safety review involves plotting data, performing specific analysis utilizing specific software, including modeling traffic <br />demand, and developing several alternatives to solve each problem. The work will also involve operational characteristics of <br />intersections and/or segments of arterials, conducting field reviews, collecting data, observations of the operation, <br />assembling crash data, performing engineering analysis and associated benefiUcost analyses of various alternatives.
