PROJECT OWNER <br />City of Pembroke Pines <br /> <br />With the expansion of their wastewater treatment plant, the City is relocating its' Public Services Campus further <br />east to a defunct golf course site purchased by the City. Calvin Giordano & Associates, Inc. (CGA) is providing <br />engineering and landscape architecture services to the City for a proposed facility which consists of the <br />construction of a two-story administrative office building, and three other buildings that function as City garages <br />for maintenance and for storage. The complex will have 85,000 square feet under roof, including a City fueling <br />station, and will be designed to GBC LEED "silver" standards. <br /> <br />In addition, the overall City site includes approximately 30 acres of wetland mitigation as part of a permit issued <br />by SFWMD, Broward County, and the Army Corps of Engineers to compensate for wetlands disturbed with the <br />construction of parking at Pembroke Pines City Center, and the upgrading of perimeter canals to South Broward <br />Drainage District (SBDD) standards. CGA has designed the turn lanes on Pembroke Road, entry road into the site, <br />the 30% Basis of Design Plans for the Public Services Campus and the offsite water and sewer extensions for <br />issuance under a design/build RFP. <br /> <br />The project is currently in the permitting and bidding phase. <br /> <br /> 25.
