J. Behar & Company, Inc. (RJ Behar) is most pleased to submit five (5) sets, one (1) original and four (4) copies (unbound), of completed packages for this Request for Qualifications to provide Professional Engineering Services for Civil Engineering to serve the City of Sunny Isles Beach. RJ Behar was founded in 1999 to provide consulting services to public and private clients throughout South Florida. Our firm has grown during that period of time to 42 employees. Our steady growth has been based on providing quality services with a client service-oriented approach. In this short time, we have secured continuing service contracts with the following municipalities: the Cities of Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Sunrise, Miramar, Lauderdale Lakes, Lauderhill, Miami, Hialeah, Town of Southwest Ranches, and the Town of Davie. RJ Behar also has continuing services contracts with Broward County, Central Broward Water Control District (CBWCD), Florida Department of Transportation (FOOT), South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD), Miami-Dade County, Martin County and Palm Beach County. We have assembled a team of experienced professionals to provide the City of Sunny Isles Beach with "one-stop-shopping" for its engineering needs. This team will be able to produce any size project and/or multiple projects with strict adherence to schedule, budget and quality for the City of Sunny Isles Beach. RJ Behar is a MINORITY CERTIFIED FIRM (MBE) providing engineering services in Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County. His pro-active management style is geared towards providing the municipalities a cost-efficient, on-schedule and successful project. Mr. Rodriguez is well-versed on what it takes to coordinate an effort such as this one and understands the need to be service-oriented.
