BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope. size, and cost) <br /> <br />Kimley-Horn is serving as site civil and traffic engineer for the Worth Avenue Restoration Project, which was brought to life by a <br />group of property owners along Worth Avenue who wanted to revitalize the area and bring it back to its former glory. This project <br />encompasses three city blocks and includes the construction of a new roadway section, replacement and modification of various <br />underground utilities, replacement of sidewalks with decorative tabby concrete, and the introduction of many landscaping and <br />architectural elements throughout the corridor. As a subconsultant to Bridges, Marsh and Associates, Inc., Kimley-Horn was <br />responsible for the design of all civil and traffic engineering related elements of the project. The design was completed in January <br />2010, with construction beginning in April 2010. <br /> <br />Firm fee: $467,000; design cost: $1.4 million (total); construction <br />cost $13.125 million (estimated). <br /> <br />~---- <br /> <br />25.
