<br />· Miami Lakes NW 82nd Avenue Drainage Improvements, Miami, Florida - Project Manager for the design of approximately 1 mile <br />of arterial (section line) roadway on NW 82 Avenue from NW 154th Street to NW 170th Street. Drainage design included inter- <br />connected exfiltration trench with positive outfall to the canal system and beautification improvements including asphalt overlay, <br />repair of curbs and sidewalks, striping, signage, and landscaping and irrigation. Drainage in some areas was minimized in order to <br />protect the existing landscaping. The scope included utility coordination, maintenance of traffic, construction support services and <br />permitting through DERM and Miami-Dade Public Works. <br />· Grove Park Drainage and Roadway Improvements, Miami, Florida - Project Manager to provide engineering design services <br />necessary for drainage and roadway improvements for the Grove Park area in the City of Miami. The Grove Park area is an <br />existing residential neighborhood encompassing Yz square mile which was identified as flood-prone area. General Development <br />Report was prepared to evaluate the existing road and drainage conditions, develop alternative improvements and cost estimates, <br />and to recommend a preferred alternative on comprehensive roadway analysis, drainage analysis, public involvement, and <br />research of existing right-of-way, and flood complaints. The roadway analysis included evaluation of milling and resurfacing <br />requirements, damaged sidewalk and/or curb and gutter replacement, ADA pedestrian ramp requirements, and landscaping. <br />· Plantation Midtown Drainage Study, Plantation, Florida - Project Manager responsible for this study to analyze the drainage <br />system of a 760-acre area known as Plantation Midtown, a mixed use area with Residential, Commercial and Institutional Zoning. <br />The purpose of the study was to provide a backbone drainage system that would allow future development and redevelopment in <br />accordance with the Master Plan. The existing system was modeled using ICPR with information from available records and <br />survey of the existing drainage system. Future development was also modeled in accordance to the maximum development <br />potential of the area. The study recommends drainage improvements that would allow the future development and creates an <br />integrated system to be easily maintained by the City. These recommendations were coordinated into current Roadway/ <br />Landscaping Improvements Projects and future CIP projects in order to minimize construction in the area. <br />· South Miami Downtown Improvements, Phases I, II & III, South Miami, Florida - Project Manager for improvements within the <br />South Miami Downtown area. The improvements consisted of the design, permitting, and construction of infrastructure including <br />watermain extensions and new drainage systems. These updated systems were vital to allow the downtown area to develop and <br />expand. The work also consisted of the design, permitting, and construction of complete streetscape improvements within the <br />downtown South Miami area included new wide pedestrian friendly sidewalks, irrigation, lighting, landscaping, and new drainage <br />systems. <br />· Pinecrest C100-A Culverts Repairs and Drainage Improvement, Pinecrest, Florida - Project Engineer in charge of study (report), <br />design and permitting for the reconstruction of existing culvert and armored embankment that had been eroded by surface water <br />runoff to the point of failure.
