BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope. size, and cost) <br />BCC Engineering was selected to provide General Engineering Services for the City of <br />Miami. One of the Assignments completed under this contract was: . '-'. <br /> <br />San Marco Island, City of Miami, Florida <br /> <br />Scope of work consisted of Roadway and Drainage improvements, including regarding <br />and repair of swales, replacement of damaged sidewalks, curb and gutter, milling and <br />resurfacing of roadways, construction of new ADA ramps, repair and replacement of <br />all traffic and street signs. <br />Engineering services provided included the analysis of alternative drainage <br />designs/systems that can be used to resolve flooding issues associated with San <br />Marcos Island. The analysis consists of performing preliminary hydraulic calculations <br />for each alternative considered using Advanced Interconnected Pond Routing Model <br />(AdICPR). Once a design alternative was reviewed and approved by the City, a <br />drainage design including drainage calculations, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling and <br />drainage design plans was prepared and submitted for approval. <br /> <br /> <br />25.
