BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />BCC Engineering was selected to provide General Engineering Services for WASD. One of the Assignments completed under this <br />contract was: <br /> <br />Miami Shores and EI Portal Undersized Water Main Replacement <br /> <br />Scope of Services included the design of 2,200 LF 8" DIP water mains to <br />replace existing potable water system within the public right of way in the <br />City of Miami Shore and the Village of EI Portal. The project also includes the <br />installation of fire hydrants, consistent with County requirements and <br />standards. This system will improve the water pressure and fire protection <br />capabilities in the residential area. Responsibilities also include permitting <br />with Miami-Dade DERM, Miami-Dade Fire Department and the Florida <br />Department of Health. <br /> <br /> <br />25.
