BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope, size, and cost) <br /> <br />Structural design of a one story fire station building for offices, living facilities <br />(dormitories, bathrooms, kitchen, cafeteria) covered patio, generator room, gym; over an <br />area of 11,942 square feet. The structural systems is comprised of pre-cast double tee <br />slabs and pre-manufactured wood trusses at roof, load-bearing masonry walls, concrete <br />columns and shallow foundations. Special attention had to be paid to the weight of the fire <br />trucks when designing the slab on grade at the bays where the trucks park.
