<br />l <br /> <br />Section 3 <br />Scope of Services / Technical Specifications <br /> <br />3.1 Scope of Services <br /> <br />The City of Sunny Isles Beach (the "City") intends to secure the services of a qualified landscape <br />contractor for landscape maintenance. It is the intent of this proposal document that all work shall result <br />in compliance with the specifications documents and all regulatory requirements applicable to such <br />project. <br /> <br />The Work covered by the Specifications, Plans and other Contract Documents, shall be landscaping <br />services, including landscape, irrigation, and public right-of-way maintenance, including sidewalks, street <br />furniture, and facility maintenance as described in the Contract Documents. <br /> <br />3.2 A. PLANTINGS & APPLICATIONS <br /> <br />AI. - A75. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to include removal and proper disposal of existing plants, and <br />then delivery, layout, placement, cleanup and maintenance of new flowers or plants in <br />the locations designated by the City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all <br />appropriate traffic control devices that conform to an approved Management of Traffic <br />(MOT) plan. It shall also include appropriate initial increased irrigation and <br />observation. Any dead or under-developing plants shall be immediately replaced by <br />the Proposers at no cost to the City. <br /> <br />A76. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to include Merit soil drench for Royal Palm one time per year <br />including a follow-up application per specifications in the locations designated by the <br />City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all appropriate traffic control devices <br />that conform to an approved Management of Traffic (MOT) plan. The application <br />shall meet all safety standards for the handling and application of the chemicals used <br />and shall follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> <br />An. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to include Cygon Foliar Spray for Royal Palms on an as needed <br />basis, including a follow-up application per specifications in the locations designated <br />by the City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all appropriate traffic control <br />devices that conform to an approved Management of Traffic (MOT) plan. The <br />application shall meet all safety standards for the handling and application of the <br />chemicals used and shall follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> <br />A78. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to include Phoenix dactylifera maintenance including all <br />fertilization and fungicide applications per specifications in the locations designated by <br />the City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all appropriate traffic control <br />devices that conform to an approved Management of Traffic (MOT) plan. The <br />application shall meet all safety standards for the handling and application of the <br />chemicals used and shall follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> <br />A79. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to include Coconut Palm OTC (Lethal Yellowing) in the locations <br />designated by the City. In areas of traffic, the proposal will include all appropriate <br />traffic control devices that conform to an approved Management of Traffic (MOT) <br />plan. The application shall meet all safety standards for the handling and application <br />of the chemicals used and shall follow all of the manufacturer's recommendations. <br /> <br />A80. <br /> <br />This proposal item is to apply fertilizer in the locations designated by the City.
