All <br />traffic control costs shall be a part of the unit price proposal and shall not be <br />paid for separately. <br /> <br />3.10 I. PARKING LOTS (see attached maD for locations) <br /> <br />11. through IS. This proposal item is to include the supplying of all necessary materials, supplies, <br />labor, equipment, fuel, and other miscellaneous necessities to fully maintain the <br />general condition of the City Parking Lots listed in this group. This work shall include, <br />but not be limited to, weeding, mowing all grass such that it never exceeds 4 inches <br />in height under normal conditions or 5 inches in height under drought conditions, <br />irrigating (including the full maintenance and repair of the irrigation system itself) all <br />landscaped areas, maintaining and replacing (if necessary) any plants, removing all <br />graffiti within twenty-four hours, blowing sidewalks weekly, power washing sidewalks <br />once a month, daily removal of all litter, daily cleaning and maintenance of all trash <br />receptacles (where they exist), and daily inspection of all lighting and lot <br />appurtenances. The City will supply all irrigation materials necessary under this item <br />upon written request by the proposer's Irrigation Specialist. In emergency <br />situations, the Irrigation Specialist may purchase the materials and will be reimbursed <br />(at actual cost) by the City, but then only upon receipt of both the proper <br />documentation of the emergency nature of the work and the proper original invoices <br />for materials. <br /> <br />The supplying and placing of this item is separate and unique from the special <br />proposal items also listed in this package and the proposal price shown for this item <br />will be considered full and total payment for all normal ongoing operations. For any <br />additional payments under this item, or any other, the service must be specifically <br />requested by the City for a unique and specific task. In areas of traffic, the proposal <br />will include all appropriate traffic control devices that conform to an approved <br />Management of Traffic (MOT) plan. This work shall <br />include, but not be limited to, weeding, mowing all grass such that it never exceeds 4 <br />inches in height under normal conditions or 5 inches in height under drought <br />conditions, irrigating (including the full maintenance and repair of the irrigation <br />system itself) all landscaped areas, maintaining and replacing (if necessary) any <br />plants, removing all graffiti within twenty-four hours, blowing sidewalks daily, power <br />washing sidewalks once a week, daily removal of all litter, daily cleaning and <br />maintenance of all trash receptacles, daily cleaning of all parking areas, clearing and <br />maintaining all up-lighting, daily inspection of all lighting and facility appurtenances, <br />maintaining all open areas (including replacing turf if necessary). The City will supply <br />all irrigation materials necessary under this item upon written request by the <br />proposer's Irrigation Specialist.
