Government, Inc was contracted by the Florida International University to provide Building Code compliance and threshold inspect.ions for the construction of the New Florida Panthers Football Stadium at the Tamiami Campus. These inspection services are rendered to FlU by CAP to ensure t.he compliance with the Florida Building Code requirements in the following disciplines: . Threshold Inspection . Building and Life Safety Inspection . Mechanical, E]ectrical, Plumbing . Roofing The New Florida Panthers Football Stadium is a structural steel threshold structure for approximately 18,000 people with capacity for future expansion. The upper decks are made of metal deck and concrete slab. There are 19 suites on the upper level made of structural steel and insulated exterior rated cladding. Integrated to the stadium is the new Field House with 50,000 SF of construction, also with the possibility of future construction to increase usable area. This building is constructed of exterior reinforced masonry walls, structural steel beams and columns, and stories made of concrete slabs on met.al deck.
