I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I I The City of Sunny Isles Beach Heritage Park Parking Garage Professional Threshold Inspection Services Proposed Staffing Your project manager and one of GFA's Threshold Inspector and Special Inspectors, John Desnoyers, P.E., has over 25 years of construction, engineering and project management experience and he will administer this project from our Coral Gables project office. Paul Danforth, P.E. will also provide assistance with this threshold inspection and testing contract; Mr. Danforth also serves as one of GFA's qualifying Special Inspectors for threshold buildings. Highlights of their credentials is enclosed. GFA has inspected and certified hundreds of threshold buildings including parking garages, hi-rises, auditoriums and entertainment complexes. GFA is very aware of the statutory obligations of the Special Inspector as well as the requirements of the authorized representative performing the inspections. We are also aware of the recent changes in FS 553.79 regarding the requirements of the authorized representative that went into effect May 7, 2009. Mr. Stewart Ward, a materials engineer and Florida-registered professional engineer has over a decade of proven materials testing experience. Mr. Ward and his CMT technical staff have the necessary experience, training and equipment to perform whatever aggregate, asphalt, concrete, soils or non-destructive testing services that will be necessary for this garage project.
