<br />l\[r. Da\'idson has m'er 39 years of diversified
<br />professional engineering and supervising experience. He
<br />has performed, supervised, and coordinated various
<br />aspects of civil-structural design for major utility,
<br />industrial, and infrastructure projects. In addition, he
<br />has experience in project management, project
<br />administration, client liaison, subcontractor/\'endor
<br />monitoring and coordination, and construction liaison.
<br />
<br />For the past 18 years, he has been assigned to the
<br />Transportation/Infrastructurc Di\'ision where he
<br />functions as Projcct l\Ianager/Lcad Structural Engineer
<br />on a number of assignments, which include bridge
<br />design, bridgc rating, bridge type studies, and bridge
<br />inspections. l\Ir. Da\'idson was the Project Engineer for
<br />the structural inspection of the historic Longfellow
<br />Bridge, which spans the Charles Rinr betwccn Boston
<br />and Cambridge, l\Iassachusetts. He performed the
<br />rating of the French King Bridge, w'hich carries Routc 2
<br />m'er the Connecticut Ri\'er. He supervised and
<br />participated in the design of 26 city roads and ramp
<br />bridges associated with the DU09C contract of the
<br />Central Artery Project. [n addition, l\lr. Davidson
<br />directed the preliminary structural engineering associated
<br />with the proposed transitway between Sleeper Street and
<br />the \\'orld Trade Center in South Boston. Hc was the
<br />lead structural/bridge engineer for the design of 12
<br />railroad bridges and trestles on a 26-mile railroad spur in
<br />Texas. He has been the Project l\Ianager for three
<br />footbridge bridge contracts and one bridge-rating
<br />contract for the 1\Iassachusetts Highway Department. In
<br />addition to his bridge experience, Mr. Davidson has
<br />functioned as lead structural engineer and/ or project
<br />engineer in the CNG conversion of three bus
<br />maintenance facilities and the upgrade of one

<br />maintenance facility to selyice a new bus fleet, project
<br />manager for an acidic wastcwater surge tank for the
<br />United States Army Corps of Engineers, and structural

<br />He has bcen Design Supervisor on a number of power
<br />projects, including conceptual projects and feasibility
<br />studies. He was the Assistant Lead Structural Engineer
<br />on a lignite-fired power plant project, responsible for the
<br />coordination of the engineering and design of the power
<br />block structures and the supervision of a $50 million
<br />structural s tcel contract.

<br />I\lr. Davidson has performed hundreds of structures and
<br />structure systems inspections. l\[ostly, the inspections
<br />have cstablished the pre-existing condition of the
<br />structures and adjacent facilities prior to construction
<br />through reports or audio-visual SUlyey. However, Mr.
<br />Davidson has also identificd the causes of structural
<br />failures and supplied expert testimony.
