BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT AND RELEVANCE TO THIS CONTRACT (Include scope. size. and cost) <br /> <br />The City of Miami is investing in a series of parks projects for the Cultural Center, one of which is the Little Haiti Cultural Campus on <br />NE 59th Terrace. The Campus includes the existing Caribbean Marketplace on the corner of 59th Terrace and NE 2nd Avenue. as well <br />as two new buildings currently under design by Zyscovich, Inc. The program includes a 250-seat theater with dance and drama <br />rehearsal halls and a Cultural Center with an Art Gallery, Arts and Crafts workshops. and community meeting rooms. A large open <br />plaza designed to host outdoor community events will join the two new buildings. Traditional Caribbean art and architecture influence <br />combined with a modern representation inspired the design for the new Cultural Campus. <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />The Little Haiti Soccer Park was first identified as a potential neighborhood improvement project as a result of the Zyscovich parks <br />improvement plan. One of two neighborhood parks. the Soccer Field will connect to the Little Haiti Cultural Campus via street <br />improvements to NE 2nd Avenue. The project will include a professional regulation soccer field, a practice field. and a 750 seat grand <br />stand.
