An important achievement in this project was <br />facilitating consensus among a complex group of <br />stakeholders, including the Town of Palm Beach, the City <br />of West Palm Beach, the design commission for downtown <br />West Palm Beach, FDOT, and the general public. Kimley- <br />Horn worked with these stakeholders to design two parks <br />on each side of the bridge, with the aim of integrating the <br />structure into the fabric of the two communities. A key <br />component of this project is a multiuse, 24-foot <br />recreational path on the West Palm Beach side of the <br />bridge.
