AICP <br /> <br />public participation including county elected officials, elected officials from municipalities <br />and city and county residents. <br /> <br />Greenways Development Manual - Broward County, FL - Project Manager for the <br />creation of the Greenways Development Manual for Broward County. The manual is <br />intended to act as a guide for all municipal governments and planning agencies in Broward <br />County to use for the future planning and design of additional greenway and trail <br />connections within the overall adopted Greenways Master Plan. <br /> <br />A 1 AI Barrier Island Greenway Master Plan - Broward County, FL - Project Manager <br />and Planner for the creation of a 22-mile Greenway along the A 1 A corridor. The Project <br />included analysis of the existing corridor, recommendations for improvements to the <br />corridor, cost estimates of improvements, and an extensive public participation program. <br /> <br />Collier County Greenspace Character Plan - Project Manager responsible for the <br />creation of a countywide vision for pedestrian, bicycle and equestrian facilities with links to <br />other public lands. Elements of the project included an analysis of existing parks and open <br />space, open space needs assessment, development of a countywide greenspace vision <br />and a detailed action/ implementation strategy. <br /> <br />Ocmulgee Heritage Greenway - Macon, GA - Project Planner/ Graphics Designer for this <br />greenway which will run along the Ocmulgee River levee through Downtown Macon, <br />Georgia, connecting to the Ocmulgee National Monument as well as the regionally <br />significant Bond Swamp. <br /> <br />Marco Island Parks and Recreation Master Plan - Project Planner/ Manager for the <br />development of a master plan which will serve as a blueprint for future development of the <br />city's parks and recreation program. The existing park system was reviewed, a needs <br />assessment was performed, and an implementation strategy was developed for the future <br />parks system. An extensive community outreach program was integrated into the design <br />process by working closely with the city's parks and recreation committee as well as a <br />number of focus groups. <br /> <br />Okaloosa County Parks System Master Plan - Project Manager for conducting a needs <br />assessment and the creation of a master plan for the County. The master plan included <br />recommendations for the creation of additional community parks, as well as beach and <br />water access facilities. The plan's action plan included recommendations for a parks bond <br />referendum. <br /> <br />City of Del ray Beach Parks and Recreation System Master Plan - Project Manager for <br />the preparation of a needs assessment and master plan for the city. Specific needs <br />assessment techniques included interviews with a dozen separate community groups and <br />organize.tions. <br /> <br />Florida Power and Light Transmission Line Study - Project Planner for the analysis and <br />siting of alternatives for the construction of a power transmission line running from the <br />Sawgrass Substation to Oakland Park, Florida. The project required sensitivity to existing <br />land uses through developed areas of Broward County, and required coordination with <br />several municipalities as well as the public. <br /> <br />North Myrtle Beach Parks and Open Space Master Plan - Project Planner for the <br />development of the city's master plan.
