A variety of project types were performed during this time. These have included miscellaneous projects, studies, investigations and general construction in support of the Public Works Department. Some of the representative projects performed for the Department included the following: * Designs for the Restoration to the Historical DeSoto Water Fountain located in the Gables area. * Designs to the E-Bus Maintenance Trolley Service and Renovations to the Public Works Building. * Structural assessment and design of renovations to enhance and reinforce the Alhambra Water Tower. The project included a totally new structural steel framework for the tower's upper section. * Stairs addition to Parking Garage No.5 to comply with accessibility requirements. * Alterations to the City of Coral Gables Parking Structure No.4. * Renovations, alterations, and additions to various buildings at the Biltmore Complex including new shelter structures at the Biltmore Golf Course. * New indoor shooting range for the City of Coral Gables Police Department. * Re-certification in accordance to the SFBC of numerous city owned facilities. * Renovations and alterations to the City Hall and Public Works Building. ~.~ a.
