Add-On: <br />A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of Sunny Isles Beach, Florida, Approving <br />an Agreement with the Miami Herald Publishing Company, for Retail Advertising <br />Services, with Option for a Second Year; Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said <br />Agreement; Authorizing the City Manager and the City Clerk to Do All Things Necessary to <br />Effectuate this Resolution; Providing for an Effective Date. <br /> <br />Action: [City Clerk's Note: Distributed prior to the meeting. Resolution No. 2010-1626 was adopted by a voice vote of 5-0 in favor. <br /> <br />101. Discussion to Consider Providing a Bonus for Early Completion of the Sunny Isles <br />Beach/Newport Fishing Pier. <br /> <br />Action: [City Clerk's Note: See action under Item 4A.] Withdrawn. <br /> <br />12B. Add-On: <br />Status of the Temple B'Nai Zion. <br /> <br />Action: Mayor Edelcup said that on September 2,2010 the City Commission approved the <br />Historic Preservation Board's recommendation to make Temple B'Nai Zion an historic site. <br />Shortly after that, President Simon Beda of the new Beit Rambam Congregation, that has <br />rented the facilities from Temple B'Nai Zion, invited him and City Historian Schulman to <br />see the new Temple and how well they have rebuilt it. They have spent over a half million <br />dollars refurbishing the entire inside of the Temple. They have a congregation that is very <br /> <br />10 <br />
