<br />Section I: Profile of the Firm (continued) <br /> <br />Technical Capabilities and Organizational Structure <br /> <br />Colin Baenziger & Associates has developed its business model over the past 13 years. The model <br />has proven to be extremely effective in every state we have worked in and for every type of <br />position. In fact we are often called when a government has a particularly difficult position to fill or <br />where one of our competitors has failed. Overall, we utilize 18 people. Most staff members are <br />independent contractors and are given assignments on a task order basis. Consequently we can pay <br />well while having a great deal of flexibility without the overhead of many firms. In addition to Mr. <br />Baenziger and the other senior staff members are former City and/or County Managers who <br />understand the business and its intricacies or, in one case, a former elected official. As a result, we <br />understand both perspectives and have been very successful in identifying the right candidates for <br />our clients.
