HERBERT L. GOPMAN, PE <br />President <br />For the last 44 years Herb Gopman has designed and inspected buildings all over the world. His work is seen <br />extensively in South Florida, where he has lived since 1944. A graduate of University of Miami (BS, Architectural <br />Engineering, 1954), he opened his own firm in 1967. <br />In that time he has served his community and profession in many ways: He is a current member of the National <br />Society of Professional Engineers, the American Arbitration Association, The Florida Institute of Consulting <br />Engineers, American Consulting Engineers Council, National Society of Architectural Engineers, The Florida <br />Engineering Society and the Florida Structural Engineers Association. His civic affiliations include the Dade <br />County Board of Rules and Appeals, Civic League of Miami Beach, Citizens Action Committee of Miami Beach, <br />City of Miami Beach Flood Plain Management Board, American Legion, Jewish War Veterans and the Ad Hoc <br />Committee for Threshold Inspectors (State of Florida). Mr. Gopman has been an American Arbitration Panelist <br />in many legal hearings and served as an expert witness in his field. <br />It is with his guidance and careful attention that a staff of more than 20 professionals is able to serve your needs. <br />Although each department is carefully staffed with educated and licensed engineers and designers, his expertise is <br />always at hand. Any job handled at Gopman Consulting Engineers receives his experienced input. <br />TATIANA DYMERETS <br />Engineering Associate <br />Born and educated in Kiev (former USSR), Ms. <br />Dymerets has been with Gopman Consulting <br />Engineers since 1980. She has a Civil Engineering <br />degree from Kiev University. She is a Structural <br />Design Engineer handling analysis, design and <br />inspection of various commercial and residential <br />structures. She is certified by Florida Concrete <br />and Products Association as a Masonry Inspector <br />and SBCCI certified. <br />EUGENE CROSBY <br />Engineering Associate <br />Born and educated in Dublin, Ireland, Mr. Crosby <br />has been with Gopman Consulting Engineers <br />since 1983. He has a Structural Engineering <br />degree from the Dublin Institute of Technology <br />(BS, 1983) and is a member of the British Institute <br />of Structural Engineers. He is the Chief <br />Structural Design Engineer in charge of structural <br />design, drafting and inspections. Mr. Crosby is <br />certified by SBCCI as a licensed building <br />inspector. He also handles all underwater <br />inspections of marine structures and is a certified <br />scuba diver. <br />4 <br />is <br />
