Phase I of this project included a complete site analysis, <br />site selection and environmental review in order to deter- <br />mine the most suitable site for the development of a 55,000 <br />SF multi - purpose community center designed to include <br />weight room, locker rooms, a small auditorium with re- <br />tractable bleacher <br />seats for 750 people, a stage with a scene shop, and stor- <br />age space. Competing sites were evaluated based upon <br />accessibility, traffic, parking, demographics and environ- <br />mental impact. <br />Phase II services involved developing a complete architec- <br />tural building program followed by full - service architectural <br />and engineering services. The facility was designed to <br />provide very flexible space for exhibitions, musical events, <br />the performing arts and all types of community functions. <br />Seating capacity was anticipated to be for a maximum of <br />2000 for major events.
